Abstract
After helping to establish and lead a bachelor of science in nursing program in Bangladesh, one nurse offers observations on developing similar volunteer projects. He discusses the need for social entrepreneurs to conduct research before committing to a project and the possibility that they might have to rely heavily on their own resources. Being an "audacious optimist" is also a must.
