Abstract

Abstract: Pectus deformities are a common diagnosis in the pediatric surgical population. In light of the high volume of pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum patients we treat at our institution, we developed a specialty center for streamlined care of these patients. The development and implementation of our Center offered challenges and obstacles, but our Center's presence has offered positive patient outcomes as well as increased quality of care. It is our hope that sharing our journey in this accomplishment will afford other institutions ease in similar developments.
